It is the opening part of the “Weight of Words” project, and it started off from the following question: 'If we could measure the weight of words – be it positive or negative - and that measurement was audible, how would we react to one another?' This sound cinema is an attempt to find an answer to this question through communication with the audience. As an example, Una, the main protagonist, is haunted by her father’s warning that she will become a “real Nakdonggang duck egg” (a failure). What kind of words have haunted you? Why not share the words that you can’t erase with us on this postcard? We hope sharing these words will somewhat lighten your burden.  1. Write down the words that  you’re carrying with you verbatim.  2. Describe how you felt when you heard those words?  If you find it difficult to put into words, you can draw your feelings instead. 3. If you could measure the weight of the words you shared, how would you rate it on a scale of 1 (extremely light) to 10 (extremely heavy)?  - We believe the world will be better if we can tune into other people's hearts and minds. Thank you for sharing your story! -

안녕하세요.  말의 무게 프로젝트의 첫 작품  ‘참을 수 없는 말의 가벼움’  오프라인 전시에 오신 것을 환영합니다.  말의 무게 프로젝트는  ‘만약 말에도 무게가 있고 그 무게를 소리로 들을 수 있다면  우리가 서로에게 반응하는 방식이 달라질까?’  하는 질문에서 시작되었습니다.  이 전시는 위 물음에 대한 답을 찾아가는 소통 과정 중 하나 입니다.  여러분의 기억 속에 있는 말로 프로젝트에 리얼리티를 더해 주세요.  우나의 내면에는 ‘낙동강 오리알’이라는 말이  울려 퍼지고 있었습니다.  그렇다면 당신의 기억 속에는 어떤 말이 아프게 남아 있나요?  기억 속에서 지워지지 않는 그 말을 오늘 여기에 적어 보세요.  저희는 말을 쓰고 나누는 것 만으로도  마음이 한결 가벼워 질 것이라 믿습니다.” 당신의 이야기를 들려주세요 1. 기억에 남아 있는 말을 최대한 날 것 그대로 적어 주세요.  2. 그 말을 들었을 때 내 감정은 어땠나요?  글로 적는 것이 어렵다면 그림으로 그려 주셔도 됩니다.  3. 그 말의 무게를 잴 수 있다면 1~10 사이 어디 쯤에 있을까요?  "일상을 벗어나 잠깐 멈추고 다른이들의 내면에 귀기울이는 시간을 가지는 것 만으로도 세상이 좀 더 살만해 지지 않을까 기대합니다. 이야기를 나눠 주셔서 고맙습니다."
